I would like to rename/move the root web on my local HD. I do not mind if this involves deleting the root web, since I can publish it from the remote server to my local HD.

How do I move/rename the root web on my local HD?

Thanks,

Clem.

I don't think you can do this with the PWS.

Hi Clem,

Use the file OS then delete the folder will remove it; otherwise, you'll have to delete each subweb first then the root. Open the
web in FP, in Explorer select the root of the subweb then press delete.

Mike,

Thanks for your message.

I used explorer to delete the old web, created a new directory, and had fp98 create a new root web there. Seems to be working fine.

Thanks again,

Clem.
