Removing the word "SPAM" from downloaded emails when not SPAM

Hi Win Mail on Vista downloads emails pretty well, except from the usual
situations we are all aware off. However, it downloads emails with SPAM
written before the Details line, some are definitely SPAM but some aren't -
how can i remove the word "SPAM" from those already downloaded which aren't
SPAM and how can I avoid lots more in the future.

Windows Mail does not add the word SPAM to any emails.
Something else is doing that, probably your mail provider or
a third party security program you are running.
