I've got a 'url' typ toolbar displayed permanently - just below the other
outlook toolbars. It has forward/back, delete, stop and go buttons as well
as a field to type in a url.

I want to get rid of it but there isn't any option in view/toolbars to close
it.

Can SKS tell me how to do it.

TIA

Hi, Rob -

When you post in here, always include your version, SP level, and mode (if
applicable) of Outlook - you can find this information in Help | About. Also
include the type of mail account(s) you use and any other pertinent details.
Be sure to put a consise summary of your question in the subject line, and
the full details in the body of your post.

That said, is this perhaps the web toolbar?

It should be the web toolbar. Can you X it? Drag it off the toolbar area so
it floats and close it using the x in the upper right corner.

Tx guys - no luck so far. In response to the suggestions so far.

I'ts Outlook 2002 SP3.

It /is/ the web toolbar but the web tickbox is already unchecked. (If I
check it, I get another one; if I then uncheck, just the second one goes).

Trying to drag it off the page unfortunately doesn't work.

Any further ideas.

TIA

Rob
