Thanks, Rajesh. That did the trick. But you might be interested in
something else I found.
I downloaded OfficeIns from
http://www.nirsoft.net/. It allows you to
control the loading of all Microsoft Office plug-ins. I preferred your
method, though, since I don't envision ever wanting to restore the PDF Maker
toolbar to Outlook.

Please follow the steps and let me know the results
1. click Start
2. click Control Panel
3. click Category View
4. click Add or Remove Programs
5. click Adobe Acrobat 7.0
6. click Change/Remove
7. click Next
8. Select Modify
9. click Next
10. open "Create Adobe PDF"
11. open "Acrobat PDF Maker"
12. click each feature and select Red X (This feature will not be available)
13. click Next
14. click Update
15. click Finish
16. close Add or Remove Programs window
17. go back into Control Panel and select "Switch to Classic View" if
preferred
18. close Control Panel
19. reboot system
