Windows XP won't remove printer. When logged in as on Administrator, if you
delete the printer (HP Laserjet 4 Plus) everything appears to work
corectly. The prompts ask if you want to remove the printer and that the
default printer has been changed. However, the printer is not removed from
the list of printers.
What could be happening? Is there a way to remove this printer?.

Did you physically disconnect the printer cable from your computer?
