Remove Logoff from Terminal Services

Hi,

I'm a rookie with this so please bare with me here:

I have a Windows 2000 Server running Terminal Services (It's my file Server
as well). I have a network consisting of about 60 PC's. We have a laptop
that we share will people who are going out on the road.

I have setup remote desktop connection on the laptop and use it to logon to
server remotely. This work great. The problem is that users can actually
shutdown the server from the laptop?

Is there a way to remove the shutdown command from the terminal service
(Remote Desktop Connection)? Otherwise users may shutdown ther server by
accident....

Only members of the Domain Admins group can shutdown the server. make sure
that the user don´t have administrative rights on the server as well.

You can use policy to remove the Shutdown button. This would require that
you have some sort of utility, such as those from the resource kits, to
initiate a shutdown. Or, you could modify the local policy User Rights
Assignment so that only admins can shutdown the server.
