Remote desktop

Hi
Can some one help i am trying to set up remote desktop on
two home pcs both having windows xp pro. i have done it
step by step and is dosent seem to work i have turned of
both fiewalls the computers are conected through a hub, i
can ping both computers but cant seem to connect them.
well that not true one time i got one computer to connect
but it dosent work anymore. i have used the names or ip
address that dosent work i have turned on remote desk top
on both pcs Help needed???????????

What error did you get?

Create a user on both machines with the same user name and password and put
them in the same workgroup name. Also, give that user rights to access
remote in the permissions. There are other ways, but this one should be
easiest.
