Remote Desktop with Widescreen

I've been working with remote desktop connection (RDC) for more than 4 months
and it was very good. Now I got a widescreen monitor with which the RDC not
seems to be aligning perfectly. ie. Display setting is not perfect.
Another thing I'm facing is I made focus to remote session and trying to
opening up Windows Explorer using shortcut. Instead of opening up the
explorer in remote computer it is opening up my local explorer.

Any idea of sorting our this issue. Or do you think that any additional
driver for monitor would solve the issue. (so far I've not installed any
driver for monitor). I use all Dell systems.

Thank you very much.

Hi praveenkumare- I think I'm trying to setup my computers similar to yours.
I'm about to purchase a Dell 24" LCD (2405FPW) and want to be able to view on
this screen a notebook computer's screen on it simply side by side with this
main computers desktop. Basically a split screen on a widescreen monitor
displaying 2 computers info and being able to simply click the appropriate
window to activate it and work with whatever is running in the window.... am
I nuts or can I do this with RD... How are YOU using it? Are you using a
straignt LCD monitor or is it also a TV? Which model is it? Thanks for
your response.....
