At work, I use "Remote Desktop" from my HP Laptop (Windows XP) to
connect to one of our Project Servers (Windows Server 2003).
Everytime I log in using my domain account, login process is OK. But,
once I am in there.. say open windows explorer, opening files, etc. It
freezes the screen for about a minute.. then, it is ok for another
minute.. and freezes again.. and it goes on forever.
But, when I logged in using a colleague's account.. (using my PC and
RDC to the same server) this freeze never occurs. only change is the
login account.
I have verified this for several times.
Can someone guide me what could be happening here?
Is it possible for an administrator to deliberately freeze my RDC
connection (due to company politics) to slow down my activity? Or it
is not possible at all to do like this.. and entirely to do with
something else.. please help.
