Remote desktop after update from sp2 to sp3 xp pro dont work

N

Neolus

Hi,

I have a big problem and i can't find the solution... hope you can help me

Last 2 weeks, i have installed the update sp3 for xp pro on 20 computers and
now, rdc dont work anymore.

The message i get is : Your remote desktop session has ended, possibly for
one of the following reason.....etc...etc...

I check firewall ( off and on ), driver of gpu, ping and telnet working

I try other test : when i install a full xp pro sp3 from msdn on a machine
from scratch : rdc work

So, i suppose the problem is only when you apply the update from sp2 to sp3

Someone have an idea ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

There have been problems associated with nVidia graphics drivers that seem to
cause issues with RDC and SP3. You might look into that.
