Remote Desktop connection timeout

Candace

In a network of about 30 systems, I have one (1) that I
am unable to connect to via Remote Desktop. The
connection acts as if it will go through, but then it
seems to just time out. It is not an issue of not having
rights, because it doesn't return with the message that
says that the user/computer does not accept remote
desktop connections. Any ideas on what could be causing
this latency/timeout and subsequent non-connection?

Are there any other network issues with that machine (i.e., dropped
connections, troubles accessing shares from time to time)?
