RDP Clinet unable to connect to remote PC.

I am trying to use Remote Desktop to connect to remote PC from my Win XP
Prof Tablet Edition over LAN

When I try to connect, I get the message "The computer can't connect to the
remote computer. Try connecting again. If the problem continues, contact the
owner of the remote computer or your network administrator."

I have turned off Windows Firewall both on my tablet & theremote PC. The
remote PC has the Remote Desktop "Allow users to connect remotely to this
computer" checkbox checked. In fact I am able to connect to the same remote
PC from my other laptop which is running Windows XP Prof ( non-tablet
edition) Any ideas what could be making this fail?
