Remote Assistance Issues

I actually have two issues.

1. One xp sp1a machine cannot send requests for
assistance. "A program could not start.Please try again"

2. Possibly related to #1, I cannot get remote control
working between two xp pro boxes. On the same LAN,
linksys router with ports triggered/forwarded and remote
access enabled. Using Messenger I can send the request
and accept it but remote assistance never opens. If I
open it manually there are no pending request.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at the Tim Thaler thread a few postings back entitled
"Remote Assistance: A program cannot be started" on 10/17/2003 for a
rehash of the possible causes and solutions to this issue...
