Remote Assistance help Please

I am looking for help with Remote Assistance. I am trying to help a friend
and he sent me an IM for remote assistance help. Which I clicked on Accept.
He then rec'd an IM back stating I accepted but then his pops up Terminated.
Neither of us had terminated the request. WE used Remote Assistance
successfully a few weeks ago and now we can't. I sent him a invite to my
computer to see if he could see mine and he accepted the invite and it
worked. But it won't work when he invites me to help him. Any suggestions???
We both tried turning off our firewalls and our antivirus. It still didn't
work.
 
Hi DLM,

If it fails the first time, you try it, cancel it and either you reissue
it or he should. That usually fixes it. Also Update / Upgrade your Windows
Messenger Program or Windows Live Messenger and use the Beta version.
