Remote Assistance has knackered other user's keyboard!

HELP!

I've just used Remote Assistance in Windows Live Messenger to show a friend
how to do something. After disconnecting the remote connection her keyboard
is not working right -
the letters and numbers mapping is all mixed up.

Needless to say she ain't happy!

We've tried a reboot and system restore and it's still not right.

Any help very much appreciated!

The language or 'locale' setting can effect the keyboard key mapping. She
might now be set to UK english instead of US, and so on.

Control Panel, Regional and Language settings,....

Thanks for your reply. The problem was..... her numlock key was on (she's a
laptop user).
