remembering the "entering the network password" not working proper

I have many webs I sign onto, and a new thing has started. When I click to
open a web, it normally brings up my username and password, i click ok and it
opens. Now, with a couple of my webs, (not all) after I click open web, it
just bring up the file open dialogue, then I have to click open and the
user/pass are empty and I have to complete them. When this happns, it does
not give the chance to check the little box that says save password in list,
it just opens up the web. So, next time I enter that web, it does the same
thing, it does not save the logon info, and it used to, and i dont know why,
can anyone help?

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE

In IE Tools > Internet Options > Content > Auto Complete make sure save passwords is enabled
In IE Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password' and click OK
Click on 'Sites' and add your site URL in the 'Add this Web Site to the Zone', and OK, OK
- note: you may have to unselect the option: Require server verification (https)... to add your site
