Reinstalling windows

My windows recently crashed, so I had to reinstall it. I
was trying to recover it however to do so I had type in
the admin password. However I never set up one so it
keeps saying incorrect password when there wasnt one
establishined in the first place. So i HAd to partition
my drive and install windows is there any way to "create
a password" or get around it so I can recover the windows
with all my files and programs

Pay close attention to step #3 it looks like your are doing a reformat but
you really are not.I had to do this once and it worked like a champ.
