"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"

Does anyone know why I have to keep running "REGSVR32
SHIMGVW.DLL"
when trying to resize pictures. It seems to be there for a
while then one day it is gone. I use Norton System Works
with the one button checkup, could that be removing it
somehow or is it something else? Thanks

Hello,

It looks like this file is associated with Image Preview in Windows.

Try ot reregister this file by typing the following at the run line and
pressing OK:

rundll32.exe c:\windows\system\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen

If that does not work I would go to Start run and type in MSCONFIG go to the
Startup tab and uncheck everything there, reboot and see if the issue still
occurs.

No. I have the same Norton System Works on my computer with the one button
checkup.
Never had to use REG.........but I posted it many time for repairs.
Something else is doing this to your system.

I know I got the repair from your posting. I can't figure
out why it keeps removing?
