my laptop is corrupt and I have tried to fix it. if I delete all traces of XP
then install it again. would I be able to register without trouble because I
already registered before

Hi,

It shouldn't be a problem, you can reactivate (registration is not required)
on the same system as many times as you please.

You can, as many times as you like. Whenever you start clean, you will need
to reactivate, that is all.
