how i can change the registery to mine name

It's really quite easy. go>start\run and type in regedit
and then click the + signs beside the entries in the
following
order.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion Now click on CurrentVersion to open
it's subkeys in the right window. Now right click on what
you want to modify(registered owner and maybe registered
organization) and click modify and type in your name. Keep
smiling

1. Run the Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE).
2. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ CurrentVersion.
3. To change the values of the RegisteredOrganization, RegisteredOwner, or
ProductId, simply double-click on them.

Hi John,

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

In the right pane, double click RegisteredOwner and change the Value data.

Or you can use this automated script:

Change Registered Owner and Organization (Line 7)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Change Computer Name (Line 109)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Change My Computer Name to User Name (Line 131)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

For Office XP:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Installer\Userdata\SID\Products\GUID\InstallProperties

In the left pane change: RegOwner and RegCompany

Once done, naviagate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Common\UserInfo

And rename it: OldUserInfo

Once done navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Word\Data and delete the
Data subkey in the left pane.
