Registered to

When I go to control panel then system it shows my name
twice under register to. It used to show it only once.
Does not seem to cause a problem.

Ok I did that and it shows it twice but how do I get rid
of the second one

To fix the "Registered to" information for WinNT/2K/XP, you can use
Start > Run > Regedit.exe to edit:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\RegisteredOwner

and:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current
Version\RegisteredOrganization

fixed when to start the run tped regedit then under edit
typed registeredorganization when to this location
h key local machine software micorsoft windowsnt current
version and found a key for registeredorganization as
well as registered owner. typed modify and remove my
name from the data fild for registeredorganization and
now it shows only one. Check another computer and it
shows the data field blank for registerorganization.
I knew if I could figure out what registry entry to
change I could fix the problem thanks for your help.
