Red X on network drives.

Hello!

We have a bit of a problem with our new network. We have Windows XP Pro PC's
that connect to our SCO server (windows mapping). when some client
login/startup they get a message that they can't connect and a red X is
placed on the drive in My computer. Clicking on this drive makes it work
again !!!

Anybody come across this before, and how do you get over it??

many thanks!

I have a similar situation. When i login on my computer
(windows xp) it doesn't remap any of the network drives,
but on my machine it doesn't even acknowledge that it
doesn't connect. It places a red x over the drive and
when you click on the drive it reconnects.
