recycle bin: unwanted deleted items automatically restored after 2

D

daniel

items deleted from the recycle bin that are not wanted are automatically
restored when the computer is turned on (after approximately 24 hours).
Items MOVED to a cd are also restored after 24 hours. How can this restore
of unwanted material be stopped?

Why Windows Vista is considered a failure as compared to Window 98 and Windows XP?

I am using windows XP - I'm sorry but I don't see a relationship between my
query and the 2 logged attempts to help.

This can happen with roaming profiles, which assumes that you are in a
domain environment. If so then you should ask your server administrator to
assist.

PROBLEM SOLVED. AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE WAS BACKING UP AND THEN RETURNING THE
DELETED ITEMS WHEN IT WAS CONNECTED. IT HAD A LOOK AROUND, FOUND THEM
MISSING AND POPPED THEM IN AGAIN. THANKS TO ALL WHO TRIED TO HELP.
