recovering outlook files

Hi there...I recently had to re-format my hard drive. I
tried to back up all my outlook files -- thought I did --
now I can't find my old e-mails & contacts. If I did it
right...where would I look in the Office files? Any
ideas? Thank you. -- Mary

account will be deleted without reading.
