Importing Outlook Express Messages

D

Dangrgrl

Hi There - I appreciate any help.

I had hard drive problems, and I had a new hard drive installed. The
failing drive, formerly my c' drive, is now installed as my 'E' drive, so I
can recover files to the new ('c') drive. I am trying to get/import my saved
folders and messages from the OE 6 on the E drive, but can't find them. Can
anyone tell me how to get these back? I don't think they were exported
before the drives were swapped. I thought I would be able to find something
like a pst file and import that, but there isn't one on the e drive. When I
took the computer in for service, the tech appeared to export to Outlook (not
outlook express) - I'm not sure if he completed the process, but if he did,
where would that file be? My ISP only uses OE, so I'd have to import them
back to that.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:
