rebooting...

After having bought another 128mb PC133SDRAM/CL3 stick to upgrade by doubling
memory, all I get now is reboot reboot reboot before getting near the desktop
screen. The specs of the sticks are the same, except for manufacturer and
there is nothing wrong with the hard disk. Does not work with just the
orginal stick anymore either. The only way to turn off is to pull the plug
out!
Anybody got a solution???

Hi Dapl,
Are you sure you seated the Memory stickes Okay in their slots.
Another think you shuold put in consideretion that you may be Fried both
with ESD charge from your Body.
Try to take them to the shop and See if they can test them for you and see
if all Okay.

seated okay.static might be a little problem but not the solution.Windows
says there is a registry file failure because it cannot load
\systemroot\system32\config\software.log, but i cannot get into that file or
the registry from the command prompt!

That mean It can Read the memory, and the Deframent file is Full up, so check
with the shop and test your Memory sticks to see they are OK.
