Sandisk cruzer mini 128MB always needs reboot!

I got a Sandisk cruzer mini 128MB USB stick, and everytime it would cause my
WinXP SP2 desktop to reboot after plugged in. After reboot it will be OK.
However, I tried it in my second WinXP SP2 desktop and it never caused any
reboot and could be used immediately in this machine. So it seems that it
supports hot-plug for one machine, while not for another one. I do not like
my computer to reboot everytime, could anybody please help me to solve this
problem?

Thanks.

If you plug the stick in, before you boot, and it`s OK. Looks as though
you`ve got a faulty USB slot. They don`t supply much current.
