Sandisk cruzer micro for Windows 98se

After purchasing Sandisk cruzer micro 2GB (for data transfer only) for
use in WIN 98SE machine, installing driver (verified), and plugging in
flash drive, what exactly is supposed to happen? the light comes on
but I get no icon in toolbar, Exporer apparently doesn't see it?????

What?????
