Hi everybody,

My computer has been rebooting with a blue screen and after it reboots
it gives me a message which I have no clue what does it mean. This is
what it contains

BCCode : 1000000a BCP1 : F78AF9D0 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 :
00000001
BCP4 : 804D9B68 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product :
256_1

Can anybody tell me what does it mean?

All help is greatly appreciated!

That's a different error to the one before:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms795930.aspx

How frequently is it occuring? Is it occuring when you boot or later?

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties,
Hardware,Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?

Try Start, Run, type "sigverif.exe" without quotes and hit OK. What
drivers are listed as unsigned? Disregard those which are not checked.

What is your Windows XP CD as it is described on the face of the CD?

Hope this helps.

Hi,

The error appears to happen after using the computer normalle for a
while (when started I chose last known good config)
I checked the Device Manager and there are no yellow marks.
After checking the drivers that are not signed I found a lot
Files found: 3557. Signed Filed 2520. Unsigned 69. Files not scanned
968

Im not sure what look for in that list...Any advice,
Thanks in advance

69 unsigned drivers is too many to check.

How is the inside of the computer casing in terms of dust. It never any
harm do to use an Air Duster to remove dust bunnies. Dust can cause
overheating.

You did not answer this question:
What is your Windows XP CD as it is described on the face of the CD?

What is your computer make and model? How old is it?

What was the last hardware and last software added? Is there any
connection timewise between making the changes and the problems
starting?

HI,

About the Windows CD, its an WIN XP Pro CD I used to install the OS.
I have a laptop IBM Thinkpad T41 that is about 3 years old.
There have been no hardware changes.

I believe the problem started after I plugged in a set of Altec
Lansing USB speakers. The first BS happened after that and it has been
hapening ever since...

Thanks for all of your help..
