This is a very common BCC, and general information can be sought in
Microsoft article:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/ms793437.aspx

As well may a reference to the James A. Eshelman site be of interest:
http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm
- click "50" in the left-hand column.

If I understand your problem appeared at the time you connected the "old"
devices HP Printer and HP scanner to your new PC, I recommend you first of
all update the drivers for the two devices, from HP sites.

Hi,
Update the driver for the Printer and see if it compatible with the
Operating system you are running.
Try to look in the Device Manager for the CD/DVD-ROM and see if it

Your error is being caused by whatever device driver, application
program or Windows component that is using memory address BF806D06
(parameter 3 of your error message).

Try the driver updates as suggested by Nass (HP drivers are always a
good suspect) and if that does not resolve the issue then post a
response back here and we will try to trace the actual culprit.
However if the parameter 3 value changes then that might indicate that
there was some new factor involved in the error.

Good luck
