Reboot with ATI all-in-wonder

When I try to open the TV turner (ATI 9000 pro all-in-wonder) the computer
reboots.
AMD 2200+ 1.8
XP home
SP2
..net
Latest ATI catalist

I just did a fresh install of the OS and havent installed the ATI control
panel or drivers yet. To date ATI support has not yeilded any good results.
Any Ideas, thanks in advance

You state you have not installed the ATI drivers.

You have answered your own question.

ATI drivers are in 3 parts; the video drivers, the Control Panel, and the
Multimedia Center Drivers.

You *MUST* install the drivers for all the functions of the card to work.
You *MUST* follow the instructions on the ATI website about having SP2, .NET
Framework, and MDAC/DAO installed **BEFORE* installing the drivers.

What were you honestly expecting the card to do...operate without proper
drivers????

Bobby, before you call people a idiot take a chill pill.

It's reasonable to read the post as
1. I have a problem,
2. I then reinstalled Windows,
3. What can I do so that #1 does not reoccur?

I too could be an idiot but ...
