Reboot or select proper boot device

I am gettin this error "Reboot or select proper boot device" whenever I boot
my Desktop.
then i have to presses F8 to select boot device among shown devices.
My harddisk is not showing on Boot devices under BIOS.

well, it is vital for the
bios to show your
hard drive as the
boot device.

open the bios and
press the auto config
key to populate the
bios with the data
pertaining to your
hard drive.

if the bios doesn't hold
data and doesn't keep
good time,

then you need a fresh
cmos/motherboard
battery for your bios.
