"Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot
device. Press any key when ready"

I have window xp, i dont know much about computers, but i unplugged all usb
drives, no headphones, no ipod, nothing.

it happened when i left my computer to charge my ipod and like a hour later
i returned to my computer and it said something like: "This is your apple
ipod, you probably wouldnt want to boot from it!. Reboot and Select Proper
Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device. Press any key when
ready"

i ctrl+alt+del and everything seems fine until where the "window xp" loading
screen when meant to be on and it just have a blank screen saying "Reboot and
Select Proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device. Press
any key when ready"

i do not have a boot cd or anything as i got my computer from my cousin. and
um, i dont wanna reformat it, as i dont think its a problem with my HD as it
seems to be able to detect but not boot from it.

Your post makes no sense. You say your ipod wasn't plugged into
it and then you say a message came from it. Etc.

Get your thoughts together and try using plain, simple English.

If you don't have the recovery CD at least of instructions on how
to recover the computer, you might as well give up now because
it's not going to last very long for you.

thats very nice, im looking for help here, seriously, if you dont have
anything nice to say, then dont say anything.

i "woke up" my computer from its "sleep" and the screen said "this is your
apple ipod, you don't want to boot from it!" *shrugs* thats what it said.

Your original post is an incomprehensible mess.

You need to do as suggested.

Sit down, calmly collect your thoughts, and create a post that makes sense.

It you do that. you'll fond plenty of help here...

This is your Apple iPod. You probably do not want to boot from me

Remove disks or other media
Press any key to restart

Make sure that you do not have disks in any drives.
