Realtek Audio-Event Monitor (start-up)

After updating my computer at the Windows Update site with a hardware update
I noticed I had a new start-up program. Its called "Realtek Audio-Event
Monitor" (alcxmntr.exe). Is it safe to remove this program from my start-up
or should I leave it alone. Thanks Alan

1. Never use WUP for hardware updates.
