Really want to uninstall Pop-Up Blocker

The pop-up blocker settings are not working. I've tured off the sounds and I
still get loud annoying beeps in my ear. It also refuses to allow a little
html start page that I keep on my C drive. If I disable the pop-up blocker
it still beeps at me when I use this page. If I turn it on and tell it to
allow this page it says that pages must begin with HTTP... so I can't tell it
to allow something that's local. What nonsense. I think I'll just remove SP
2 completely or switch to linux. thanks mr. gates.

You can just boot from the Linux CD and it will partition
and format as needed.

What pop-up blocker have you installed? Follow its manufacturer's
directions for uninstalling it.
