Hello all..

I had a webcam which I believed must have been broken as I could no
get it to run as it did previously. I double checked all thesoftwar
and no joy.

So yesterday I went had purchased a cheap replacement, as we hardly us
it that often, a Pc Line PCL 100K.

When I got home I followed the installation guide to the lette
and....nothing.

From the start menu I find the Pc Camera programme and I have
options.... Amcap or uninstall. When I select Amcap the window open
but I cannot getcapture from the webcam. I have looked for somethin
that by name resembles the webcam in the hardware list but nothing. Th
led on the cam comeson when I press the capture button but doesnot sta
on when I remove my finger and no image is transmitted.

I have tried add hardware but cannot seem to run the d drive where th
disk is located.

Apologies if I haven't explained this very well, but I am at a loss an
I can usually work these things out

AMCAP menu > Devices > tick the new camera. Options > Preview > tick.
If this does not fix the problem, tell if the camera picture is visible.
When there is the MSN Messenger (Live Messenger) installed, you may also
want to test the camera via Tools > Webcam Settings.
