re-installed windows

I recently re-installed windows and i could search
through any search engine msn,google etc, However when i
went to windows update and ran all the the updates now i
cannot search through any search engines at all. I just
get page cannot be found error. Any help would be
appreciated

I ran the Qhost removal tool and the virus was not found
on my system. Do you have any other tricks up your sleeve

Hi Brett,

Open the HOSTS file and delete all mappings except:

127.0.0.1 localhost

The file is located at
"C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc" (named "HOSTS")

Backup the current HOSTS file first.
