Re-install Problems

I had some problems and did a restore to Win XP Pro. Now
the colors are not right and will not change. I can not
defrag the partion it is on which needs to be defraged. I
can not set a background image from the images sent with
Win XP. I do not want to do an fresh install as I am
taking classes and my .NET software, etc. is on this partion.

You need to install the drivers for your video card or onboard video
chipset. Everest "may" work to ID the card so you can find the right
drivers.

What do I do about defraging my partion. I have no space and most of it is red which means it needs, I need to fix this also so my programs will run correctly.
