RCT3 Trouble

Hi guys.

I was just wondering if anyone could help me.

A while ago i un-installed both RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and the 'Soaked!' expansion pack.

I wanted to install the main game again recently.

But as it was installing, it got about a quarter of the way through and then gave me the following error message:

According to Install Shield's website, it says it is due to a conflict with install files. There is a patch on that page which might sort your problems

Thanks for your help but it didnt work


It keeps stopping at 'Prarie rider'.

I heard about some program that removes all trace of rct3 from your computer, and that it is needed upon a reinstall. But i dunno.

From what I can see on the net this is a common problem with RCT3 - it might be that you have to contact whoever makes the game to get some support on it.

I don't know if this would work, but if the files are not compressed on the CD you might be able to copy them directly over to the install folder and play the game that way.
