I bought a dell computer from a store a few months ago and when It starts up
it comes up with a window with the stores name and asks for password. I
don't have a password set up so I just hit ok and it goes to my desktop. My
question is how do I get rid of that window with that co name on it

Start > Run > control userpasswords2

Remove the check mark next to Users must enter a user name and pasword to
use this computer.

You might want to set up a new user without administrator privileges when
you're browsing the web:
