Question 2 Wireless security

We have just bought a Lenovo laptop and have bought a Belkin Wireless Access
Point so that it can be used about the office. It all works fine except for
wireless security. I know a fair bit about wired networks and it connects
fine but only on an open circuit. As soon as I set up any security the
laptop won't connect.

Can you point me to some instructions on how to do this please.

Security settings have to be the same at both ends.. set up the wireless
router first, then use the same settings for the laptop
