How does one access interesting newsgroups. Until recently, my server was
Wanadoo but they have now ceased this service for some reason or other. When
I contact them, they don't seem to be all that interested.
Help if you can, please.

You can do it with google. Just go to http://groups.google.com, then
type the name of the newsgroup that you want to use; eg.
microsoft.public.access
