Q308402 hotfix

My laptop does not boot. Microsoft website requires a PID
for creating the help ticket! All i have is the product
key underneath my laptop.

How can I get the fix for Q308402 hotfix?

Do just as you said. Call the number given in KB308402 for obtain the
hotfix. it is not for download.

Just took a look at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=308402 Have you seen
it? Are you sure you have the ocrrect KB # (or Qxxxxxx)
