Hi,
I think I have a problem with my Local area Connection.

Whenever I turn my computer on and till I turn it off,
the LAN status is active, with the icon's computer
screens in color, and they are't even flashing at all.
+ their sent-recieved activity is always on.

It used to be only one screen in color, while I was not
using Internet Explorer, and the icon's computer screens
used to be flashing many times while I was using Internet.
Since my network doesn't provide internet access to
multiple computers, I wonder what causes this problem
here.

What would be the possibilities and What should I do?

Do you have a broadband connection as in DSL or Cable and are you running a
firewall? If you have a broadband connection, these are always on and if
you are connecting directly and not through a router and have no firewall
installed, you're system is wide open regardless of what applications are
open or closed. In other words, it doesn't require IE or OE to be open for
someone to access your system if you have a broadband connection.
