Puzzling text box indents

G

Guest

Sometimes when I insert a text box on a slide and then type inside it, the
second line (and all subsequent lines)of the text are indented by about half
an inch and the only way to get rid of the indent is to type in a carriage
return at the end of the previous line.

On other occasions within the same file this problem does not occur. I've
tried very hard to determine what it is that causes this indentation to occur
sometimes but not others but to no avail. Can anybody help please?

Sounds like the text is set for a bullet indent but it's set for no bullet.

Choose View, Rulers and use the indent "chicklets" to change the indents. Hold
down the Ctrl key while you drag them to get a bit better control

If you need more help with 'em, c'mon back and yell.
