pure black and white view question

We've got a presentation where our slide headlines are white text,
heavy and bold, on top of a dark colored jpg.

All is fine until we view in pure black and white... then suddenly the
white text turns black.

Why does this happen, and, can we prevent it? Can we force the white
text to appear white, in pure black and white view?

nevermind, found it. right click text box on master, select white for
black and white view

weird, never seen that before..
