I cant publish my website because the publish site option under file is
greyed out. What do I do to make it operational. The Rremote Web Option under
view does not work either. I f someone could enlighten me I would be very
appreciative.

Most likely you have not opened a web in Front Page but
merely a page. The Front Page "Publish" command is used
to publish webs not single pages.

Do you actually have a web open and not just a page?

same problem

I assume the op had only a page open and not a 'site'. The problem is I cant open a 'site'. I run two sites from this program and this happens almost everytime I switch from one to the other. I can open a page but not the site. So "publish" is greyed out and I cant publish my changes.

I try to open 'site' but there is nothing in the folder where my site is. I mean all the files are there and all the html pages but nothing comes up as a 'site' that frontpage recognizes. You would think that opening a page would reference the site it belongs too...

Nonetheless if someone can give some pointers on what and/or how to get 'publish' to be active that would be great. Much appreciation.
