publish error

I am getting a error when trying publish my site. I have made sure that the
Frontpage Extensions are installed on the server(Fedora) The server is a
linux server this the first one I setup.
The error is the server doesn't have SharePoint Servies installed.
please help

SharePoint Services = FrontPage extensions in FP 2003.
Try repairing / reinstalling the FrontPage Extensions.
Then make sure you publish to the http://www.yourwebsite.com address.
