Prompted for Logon in outlook 2003

Periodically, my outlook 2003 users are prompted to logon to email even
though the are already logged onto the windows AD network...

why is this?.....

The only time that I have seen this is where I'm switching connection type
(RPC to RPC over HTTPS).

I found the answer... I went into IE 7 tools\ internet options\ Security
Tab\picked the custom level button for Internet and scrolled to bottom of and
enabled radio button under User Authentication "Autoomatic Logon with
Username and Password"
I did the same for Inranet zone too...
