Programs running in background Help...

Hi

For some reason i have a load of programs running in the
background which i dont know what they are.
Unless i close them all down i cant connect to the
internet as it just freezes on the desktop.

Any way of getting rid of these ?

Can list them if it helps ( 1 is msbb.exe )

One way to keep some programs from starting up with
windows is go to Start > Run type in "msconfig" when
the window comes up, go to the startup tab, and you can
uncheck anything you don't want to start when windows
starts.

Download/update/run Ad-Aware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com to find and
remove this and other spyware pests.
